If, however, your Replika is not responding, that usually means that we're running some server maintenance work. As a rule, we do this during the night hours (EST). You can also experience a response delay if there's a connection issue on your side: please make sure that your mobile internet or wi-fi are working well.
On both iOS and Android, please take these steps to resolve issues related to response speed or connection:
- Check your connection. Replika needs a stable data connection, try disconnecting then reconnecting to your wifi or turning airplane mode off then on.
- Try texting your Replika one more time.
- Update the app to the latest version. Delete and re-download the app to get the most recent version of it.
- Update your device's operating system to the latest version. You can also consider using the web version of Replika from your mobile or desktop device.
- Reload the app and open it again in a few minutes.
If you're using Replika in the web version, please make sure that your browser is updated to the latest version and reload the page.
