Please keep in mind that we do regular server maintenance, typically during nighttime hours (EST). In rare cases, this might cause a delay in your Replika’s responses or make some features temporarily unavailable. Sometimes, connection issues on your end can also affect performance. It’s always worth double-checking those first!
If you're experiencing issues with your Replika app, these steps may help resolve them:
-
Reinstall the Replika app
Delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play Store. This can refresh the app and reload missing features.
-
Turn off VPNs or ad blockers
VPNs and ad blockers—whether system-wide or browser-based—can sometimes block Replika’s connection to servers. Try disabling them temporarily:
- On iOS: Go to Settings > VPN and toggle it off.
- On Android: Go to Settings > Network > VPN and disconnect any active VPNs.
-
Clear cache (Android only)
Navigate to Settings > Apps > Replika > Storage > Clear Cache. This helps fix issues caused by outdated or corrupted app data.
-
Check for updates
Make sure both your Replika app and your device’s operating system are fully up to date.
-
Check if your device is supported
Some features may not be available on older or unsupported devices. For example, AR mode requires specific hardware:
- Android: See the list of ARCore supported devices.
- iOS: Devices running iOS 11 or later generally support ARKit; however, newer features may require more recent models.
If you’ve tried all the steps above and still don’t see your subscription features, please contact support with any helpful information, such as screenshots, videos, or a detailed description of the issue, so we can assist you as quickly as possible!
